Privacy Policy

Astraark Pty Ltd (ABN 38 698 364 608), trading as Fisherman's Guild, is the organisation that holds personal information collected through tcg.fishing and TCG Companion. This page explains what we collect, why, who helps us process it, and how you can ask for access, a correction, or deletion.

What we collect

• Accounts. Email, username, optional in-game name, and anything you submit (catches, reports, contest entries). Sign-in uses Supabase Auth. We send one-time codes by email. We do not store your password in a form we can read.
• Payments. Stripe handles your card. We store Stripe customer and subscription ids, the plan you bought, and the TCG World name confirmed at checkout. We do not store full card numbers.
• TCG Companion. The Windows app reads a token from your local Player.log over HTTPS so we can prove who is signed in. We store a device or install id so the membership seat stays on your machine. Live use can include your position, nearby session players, roads, and quest progress so the map and desks work.
• Earn. If you join an Earn season we store the wallet address you choose to link. That is optional and separate from checkout.
• Help bundles. Only if you send one. A bundle can include log snippets and a screenshot so we can debug. We do not pull those unless you upload them.
• Technical logs. IP address, browser, and request metadata on the site. Needed to run the service and stop abuse.

Why we use it

To run accounts, contests, and the guild site. To take payment, unlock Companion, and bind the seat to the name you confirmed. To show live map and Companion features while you play. To fix bugs when you send a help bundle. To send login codes and, if you opted in, guild news. We do not sell personal data.

Who processes it

We use other companies to run the product. In plain words they are:

• Stripe, for cards, subscriptions, and the billing portal
• Supabase, for accounts, the database, and file storage
• An email delivery service, for login codes and receipts
• Optional privacy-friendly analytics (for example Plausible), if we turn that on. We do not use advertising cookies for that.

Astraark Pty Ltd is in Australia. Some of those processors store data in the United States or the European Union. If you use the site or the app, your information may be processed in those places.

Cookies and local data

The site uses cookies or similar storage to keep you signed in and to remember basic preferences. Companion stores a local session so you stay signed in on that PC.

How long we keep it

Account and contest records stay while your account is open and for a short time after if we need them for disputes or tax. Stripe keeps payment records under its own rules. We delete or anonymise help bundles when the ticket is done, unless we still need them to stop abuse. Companion live position is working data. We do not keep a public history of everywhere you walked.

Your choices

Email hello@tcg.fishing to ask for a copy of the personal information we hold, to correct it, or to delete your account. You can also write on Telegram. We will ask enough to confirm it is you. Deleting an account removes guild profile data we control. Stripe may still hold payment records. Paid checkout is only for people who can legally hold a payment method in their country.
